Using Groups, you can tie a given number of related Transfers together. This enables you to run an entire group of Transfers at once.
A Group of transfers can be run manually (from the Groups tab) or Scheduled to run automatically (from the Schedules tab).
When running a Group of Transfers, the Transfers will be executed in the order they appear under the Transfers tab (i.e. sorted by Code). This can be used to ensure that Transfers are run in a specific order. If a transfer in a Group fails with an error, then the whole Group is aborted (the rest of the Transfers in the Group are not executed).
Under the Tab "Groups" you can choose to edit or delete an already existing Group or create a new Group.
You also have links to jump to the Schedules for a specific Group, or the Log entries for a specific Group and to Run a Group.
Please note that Groups are loosely coupled to Transfers and Schedules, meaning that if you rename a group or delete a group, the corresponding Transfers and Schedules are not modified.
Fields in Groups:
Code: Specify a unique Code for the Group.
Description: Fill in a descriptive text.
