Support for MS Dynamics NAV Web Services+Blurb

We have now added support for MS Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 Web Services. This makes it very easy to create different more complex objects in NAV and leverage all the business logic defined in NAV.

This can for example be used to create new Customers or Sales Orders in NAV. All the business logic will run in NAV and assign new Numbers and use templates to create the new objects.

Support for MS Dynamics NAV Web Services+Blog

Our support for MS Dynamics NAV Web Services includes any Page object that you expose as a WebService. This means that virtually any data in NAV can be created and updated in this way.

Furthermore the access to NAV is still very secure as we use our RapidiConnector to access the WebServices - this means that you dont have to open up your firewall to allow incomming connections to your NAV WebService Server.

We still recommend to use the C/Front based RapidiConnector to read data from MS Dynamics NAV - its just so much faster this way. Also features like SourceControl is not available in the WebServices, making it hard to transfer only the changes.

Support for MS Dynamics NAV Web Services+upgrade notes

You need to upgrade your RapidiConnector to the above mentioned version. The central service also needs to be at this version. Please contact our support to get the upgrade.
